Testimonials
"I loved doing Baby Yoga and Massage with Euan and he adored it too. I have done many baby classes from yoga to signing to music to swimming etc, and this is by far the best, especially when the babies are small. "Everything in the class is so relaxed and so enjoyable, and it gave me lots of things I could do at home. I'm only sorry I haven't been able to do the class with Charlotte too (doesn't tie in with Euan's nursery days)".

"As a first time Mum I was glad to have something Jack and I could do together, in and out of classes. Baby yoga solved those "what to do now" moments at home and helped keep him stimulated in the early weeks, strengthening the bond between us. I am certain it helped with his wind and he slept well after classes! We really got a lot out of it, and although Jack never mastered the total relaxation, I enjoyed it!"

"Baby Yoga classes were wonderful, the highlight of my week, especially in the early days of motherhood when it feels like your whole world has turned upside down! It helped me bond with my new baby in a unique way and gave me confidence in dealing with and handling him; as well as learning songs and movements which could be continued and developed at home. It also allowed me to meet other new Mums, some of whom have become friends for life. I would certainly recommend it to all new Mums!"

"I started taking my daughter to Baby Yoga when she was just a few weeks old, and it was a great way of heading out of the house with my newborn and making new friends. My daughter thoroughly enjoyed each session and the songs and yoga are something we use daily in our house still. I would recommend going along to Baby Yoga to enjoy it as part of a group but also to have some fun with your new baby.

"As the mother of a newborn and a 3 year old Melanie's classes were a haven of peace and relaxation; the chance to 'escape' and spend some time just focusing on my baby and my own needs
The time spent sharing news with other parents was a real tonic and released a lot of tension that can build up during the week. We both benefited greatly from the relaxation sessions, feeling totally relaxed and rejuvenated. Since attending Melanie's classses over 3 years ago we still find ourselves bopping around the kitchen to a music from Melanie's classes: the children and I end up with great grins and rosy cheeks! A huge thank you for helping me maintain sanity in my life, for the many benefits that William gained from your classes and for the wonderful friendships that I built up and still have. You are a star!"

"Baby Yoga classes are great fun, relaxing and really therapeutic for both baby and mum. Both my sons loved all of the yoga moves and stretches to songs. It is the perfect chance to just 'be with your baby', but also chat to other mums and get out of that 'new baby fog' that seems to hang over for the first few months! My second son only started sleeping through the night after baby yoga classes and has slept well at night ever since. I also found the tips on how to hold and carry your baby to protect your back, hips etc. very helpful, plus the wonderful relaxation at the end of the class was a real treat.Whether you sign up for one course or carry on until your baby is walking, it is well worth doing. I am still singing the songs to my 9 month old, using the carrying techniques and doing the yoga moves and massages at home despite the fact I only attended a few classes. Give it a go, you and your baby will love it.

"Great fun, helps you to learn songs and rhymes and how to hold baby different ways and give them (and you) a little workout. Also lovely to see other babies and how they all interact! We are looking forward to Smart Toddler yoga classes."

"I attended Baby Yoga and Massage 4 years ago, with my second child, Max. I found the classes wonderful for the following reasons:-
- he and I really enjoyed the sessions each week
- it was a wonderful bonding experience for us both
- it gave me something enjoyable to do with my baby
- my husband and Max's older brother could join in; it was a great way for them to interact with Max (for his 2 year old brother this was wonderful as babies can be boring to toddlers)
- I found the sessions useful for me. I had never done Yoga before but felt more relaxed and looked forward to the sessions
- incorporating mum and baby together was excellent
- the information related to childcare was excellent and Melanies handouts useful and informative.
- it helped to settle him for the evening and he slept amazingly well. Yoga and massage became part of our nightly routine
- he was very calm and easy to look after, which I think was related to his and my lower stress levels.
- the singing and movements that a baby could do were amazing
- the songs were very cute and we still sing them
- Max and my current baby do not seem to get tummy ache and wind problems. I will never know if this relates to the excercises but I believe it's linked.

Max and I attended the sessions for a year, and later attended toddler yoga which we also enjoyed, and I am looking forward to classes with my third baby. As a nurse and counsellor with experience in stress management and reduction, I found the classes amazingly stress reducing for both me and Max: he was a very relaxed baby and I think the yoga may have influenced him.

I was also met like-minded mothers and made a friend who is still very important in our lives. My husband, who I would never have imagined going to yoga, attended with Max, which he really enjoyed, and then he was able to do it at home with Max. Most evenings a massage was part of his bed time routine, as it is for Thomas, our new baby, who is also 'chilled', relaxed and a good sleeper. Melanie's yoga was a magical time in our lives, and I would and do recommend her and the classes to lots of people.

Max is now 4 and has a diagnosis of Autism. I feel much more able to deal with the often stressful situations that this causes. He still loves a massage he will frequently go and get a bottle of lotion, plonk himself on my lap and say "Massage!" (He has very few words but he can clearly say massage!) When I was in labour with my new addition he decided to give my tummy a massage! I feel the sessions had an enormous impact on us all 4 years ago and has had long lasting benefits, especially with Max`s particular difficulties.
